Winona LaDuke is an internationally renowned activist, working on issues of sustainable development, renewable energy and food systems.  Ms. LaDuke lives and works on the White Earth reservation in Minnesota.  And in 1996 and 2000 she ran for vice president as the nominee of the Green Party with Ralph.  As program director of the organization “Honor the Earth,” she works on issues of climate change, renewable energy and environmental justice with indigenous communities.  The group’s latest campaign is to stop an oil pipeline from being built through native lands in northern Minnesota.[/vc_wp_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”” parallax=”” parallax_image=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_wp_text]kia newkirk
